Time is flying & Spring is upon us...then off...then upon us again!
This is our LAST regular competition of the 2025-2026 season, so let's bring our BEST to the table & really pull ourselves up into the placement at CACCA!
You can upload on the 411 site (see below) up to 5 per category (5 mono & 5 color).
Image size to 1920 x 1080 max
(this includes any border that you decide to add - so add the border BEFORE you size your image)
You may enter up to 5 dpi (digital images) in COLOR DPI & up to 5 dpi in MONOCHROME DPI.
Rules:
*Manipulation of images or retouching is accepted for all competitions but is not required.
*Any subject matter is accepted unless a theme or categories are offered (you may use any of the images that were submitted into our scavenger hunt challenges or any other images that you see fit). AKA there are NO categories/subjects for these main competitions - anything goes!
*There is NO time constriction on any pix entered (may be old or new images taken at any time).
*Photos can be taken on a camera or a phone.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
. • The maximum width is 1920 pixels
. • The maximum height is 1080 pixels
• Image is to be entered as a JPEG file – up to 5 images per DPI category (color category & monochrome category) can be entered.
. • Images fare better if titled - be creative
• CACCA will not change or “correct” any images that do not conform to the specified criteria
. • A border of 5-10 pixels on each side is preferred for dpi (any color is ok, but white is standard), but a smaller or larger size is acceptable
***Please create border BEFORE sizing your image (it counts in the overall size)

All DPI should be sized w 1920 x h 1080 max (it won't always work out to that exact, so don't panic)!
Your images should be titled (a creative title can add to a photo & bring in extra points!), but no other naming convention is needed as your images are loading into your unique account (they will already be tagged with your name & club)
Pick the competition you are entering in the drop down menu & also the # of the photo (if it's 1 of 5 of the color you are entering, etc.)

ALSO...IF YOU ARE COMPETING IN PRINTS...bring them to the meeting as well! There will be boards for sale & you can use the label format & some will be provided if needed...let us know if you have any questions!
It will be great to see you all next Thursday for our 4th competition & see all of the great images & talent our group will be sharing! Upload your best images as we are doing so well in CACCA...let's continue to knock their lens caps off!
This will be an in-person meeting, but you can also attend via zoom if you aren't able to make it in person!
You will notice that I repeat the times & dates alot...it's because we'd love for everyone to enter & no one to forget! :)
